Got back from europe myself yesterday.
I can't find a proper running / crouched anim to modify...
Whatever they did to make the blending, they don't have a running pistol/smg anim that i can use, so they probably didn't use one either.
runN/E/etc, are just normal running animations with hands not holding any guns or any formal shape just normal running...
So they used blending to get their running anims and the aiming anims together...
If the source code is up to date, i can always try asking for help from sykes/dunc/maybe cloud for this
In the meantime hows the picking up / dropping of the akimbo berettas ?
Pressing drop while holding akimbo, should just drop 1 and leave you with 1, thus a model switch basically.
Picking up a beretta while holding one goes akimbo, another model switch and inventory switch really, shouldn't be too complicated code wise, hopefully.
Im gonna playtest a bit tonight and see if this is all thats left so we can release the damn thing.
Even the irc is completely dead now that i left for 2 weeks
I checked over as much as i could, and we need : some sort of bolting sound to play in between shots on the mosin, fuck animations. Hm, some sort of akimbo beretta weapon icon thingy in the top of the screen.
Escobar was still glowing purple to me for some reason...
I dont know if theres anything else ?
Oddly enough the akimbo rettas didnt Once alternate for me? Am i missing an update or something ? __________________ Hi.

The source code on SVN is really old but I'll try to update it soon.
I have a sourcesdk_content\hl2mp\modelsrc\Player\HL2DM_crouch_aim_pistol.smd that gets referenced often in the QC, but it may actually be the only new one needed.
I'll take care of dropping/pickups too for sure, not sure what I did with the beretta anim code. I probably just neglected to upload new DLLs.
I actually have a Mosin now (sans scope) so I can try recording a bolt sound but it probably won't turn out very well with my crappy radioshack mic. __________________
