When I first started TS I played the DM servers. That was back on 1.5. I played for maybe a week or two. Then I found an RP called NukeSilo. Now I know I said 1.5 but Im not sure. Anyway I hated it the first time cause everyone was a dick to the unemployed and new people. I toughed it out and tried to fit in. To make a VERY! VERY! long story short I did extremely well and became boss for 2 orgs. That was about 2 or 3 years ago. All im saying is that maybe you guys just didnt give it enough time. And not once did I spend 1 second on a form in that whole time. I asked for my jobs. Its up to you guys.

I just sealed this topics fate.

There is currently an RP script, writting for SourceMod (can be run for any sourcemod server, but specifically created for DHL), I have already started creating such a script, but no doubt, my scripting buddy will create an even better script. This guy can also map, so a map is likely to be released also.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing this mod in use.

what is the point of this argument?

IF people are gonna RP on this or any other game, it is as simple as running your own server!

So why all the talk about "NO RP!!!"

There are RP servers in every mod, even TFC and it is still one of the most played games on Gold Source.

So, chillax, and do what is always done:

DM to your hearts content, if you stumble upon an RP server, DM there too.

Of course there will be RP, If you don't like it then thats fine, but just leave the people who do like it to do it as they please. Why go out of your way to annoy other people? Its just pointless. I favour RP but i also like to DM a bit, so ill go onto another server to get the DM outta me, then go to an RP server to have some RP fun.

I don't think RP servers will be a problem. Aaand if Hl2 servers work anything like HL1 servers, I think servers already can list their game name as something different from the mod. Like the OZ/Sev mod servers, for instance?
